London has got a new bag..and Its a Waldorf Astoria

With London being one of the most exciting tourist destinations in the world  its good to see finally a new Hotel within the city Limits that isn't a generic chain of nothing-ness

So to my delight and excitement the London Syon Park opened this week with the Waldorf Astoria team operating at the Helm. My expectations are high an I'am hoping this venue will not disappoint me.

"Who needs Prozac when you've got decor?"

says Simon Doonan, creative ambassador of Barneys New York, about the apartment he shares with Jonathan Adler.
"Our apartment, with its white floors, ceramic abundance, vintage eclectica and pops of colour, carries on the flamboyant Adler tradition. As Jonny has often stated, his goal is to make our home -and every home - a gorgeous, life-enhancing antidepressant."
And it is, in fact, all that:

First stop in Paris...

...is La Bague de Kenza, a luxurious Algerian pastry shop on rue Saint-Maur. My best friend introduced dragged me there a year ago on my birthday, in fact i think this was the best version of a birthday cake ever!

Time Please Guv'nor

As a Brit I'm very fond of a good pint of Beer from time to time. But Beer drinking has always been seen as a very old fashioned thing to drink and be around, (Well in the UK that is anyway) as well as the vision of grotty old men's pubs to drink it in too.

At Last a venue to be proud of to drink your beloved pint in which is set in edgy East London.

Amsterdam Dining

After about 20 trips to Amsterdam, Constantina and I finally managed to have something other than a hot dog at the airport for dinner. We enjoyed our meal at Mazzo as much as we enjoyed the design of the restaurant: simple, quirky and undeniably Dutch!
