Austrian Cool - The Daniel Hotel, Vienna.

This quirky little venue that sits in a 1960's structure in Vienna, designed by George Lippert has plenty of delights to offer. With its left field approach on a hotel layout being very different to most, such as the reception area which is located in the hotel’s private shop that stocks exceptional items. Its random accessories and décor throughout are intriguing to look and admire. it has a cool bakery that provides an atmospheric place for guests to enjoy their breakfasts and to indulge in some delicious Austrian baked goods. the guest rooms are basic but edgy with the public spaces making this hotel unique in its own way.

Christian Lacroix Hotels, Paris

On our two most recent trips to Paris we stayed at Christian Lacroix's hotels:
Hotel Le BelleChasse and Hotel du Petit Moulin. Both are really small and cozy and covered in fun pattern:

A Little bit of NYC hiding in London - Spuntino

If you live in London or visited you may be aware that London's Soho District is a maze of strange alleys and streets with some hidden gems of bars & Restaurants. I came across Spuntino on Rupert St which is a Small 25 cover venue that reminds me of NYC- Great music, Great Food (Check out the Sliders), and a random mix of music. All food served on old tin plates.

Carpet Reloaded

One booth that really stood out to me at Decorex was the one with these gorgeous rugs from Italy. Carpet Reloaded - "This exclusive limited-edition collection brings together carpets from the first and second halves of the 20th Century and reinterprets and reinvents them in new, surprising ways.Decolorized and re-dyed, unthreaded and woven anew, cut and sewn back together..." - the designs are simply beautiful:
